What temperature should I use?
For most Hans Grill pizza stones and steels, preheat to 500°F (260°C) for 30–45 minutes before baking. Higher heat gives you a crisper, pizzeria-style crust.
How do I clean it?
Let it cool fully, then use a scraper or stiff brush (the Hans Grill 2-in-1 works perfectly) to lift residue. Never use soap or dishwasher on cordierite stones — they’re porous and will absorb detergent.
Will it work in my oven or BBQ?
Yes — Hans Grill stones and steels work in any standard home oven and on most BBQs and outdoor pizza ovens. Check product specs for exact dimensions.
